Healing Hands, LLC is a foot care nurse and consulting business that has been in operation since 2003. We promote integrity in foot care through evidence-based care provided by a trained, experienced nurse.

Our mobile services are available to physician offices as well as assisted living facilities.
Our foot care nurse, Evangela J. Nichols-Gordon, brings to you 22 years of experience in foot care. She received professional training and certifications to perform foot assessments and routine foot care on clients with diabetes as well as those with vascular, neurological, dermatological, and orthopedic disorders who are at greater risk for wound development, infection, and amputation. Evangela has been a licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Louisiana for 30 years- 22 of which have been spent gaining experience in foot care. After graduating from Delgado Charity School of Nursing in 1994, she worked on medical-surgical units of hospitals in the greater New Orleans area. While caring for patients who were hospitalized for complications from diabetes, cardiovascular disease and neurological disorders she began to explore foot care as an early preventative limb salvaging intervention.
By 2002, her work in the Diabetic Management Clinic at the Medical Center of Louisiana - Charity Campus gave Evangela the opportunity to hone her skills in diabetic foot care. She received training an d certifications in Lower Extremity Amputation Prevention (L.E.A.P.) Levels I - II- III from the LSU Health Sciences Foot Care Program; Wound Care (WCC) from the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (NAWCO) and foot care (CFCN) from the Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB).
Evangela has enjoyed providing quality foot care as an independent nurse contractor across this region since 2003.
